The Kitakyushu Science and Research Park information network is a communications base supporting science and research activities on campus and comprises networks for data (gigabit Ethernet and Asynchronous Transfer Mode: ATM), video and telephone.
Universities and research institutes at home and abroad are connected via Science Information Network (SINET) and the Internet, and researchers can quickly and securely exchange scientific information they need. |
 |
| Each facility in the Park is connected by fiber-optic cables. The campus' main LAN comprises a gigabit Ethernet backbone. |
